HELLO GUYS!, I was wondering if any of you guys still play quake 2, It's one of my favorite PC games other than the classic Doom1 and Doom2 of course , I was wondering if we could get a server set up if enough people play, since Quake 2 uses an Address book, if anyone ever does create a server, they will have to pm the name of it to me or post it on the forums, but anyway I'm getting ahead of myself haha, here is a video of me doing a playthrough, I'm playing this playthrough on normal but I've beaten it on Hard multiple times and even found the secret Id gallery room at the end after the last boss I'm only posting the 2nd one since it was my favorite (just click on my website tab on my profile to reach my youtube page and check out the others if you want, I'm not a pro youtuber so the quality on a couple of them would be sub-par)

I have the games as I have the Quake 4 Special Edition pack but I've never played it. I can never decide if I like those kinds of games sometimes I hate them but then before I've been through Doom 1 all the way and completed it.

It was my very first FPS i ever played around when i was 4-5, I bout quake 4 for my xbox and got Quake 2 with it, its not nearly as good as the PC version but im happy with it

yeah i have the Quake 2 that came with Quake 4 for the xbox 360, It's ok, but i can't get into it like i do the pc (even though its pretty much a direct port lol)

I will set up a server soon.

I have many, if not all games and maps, that any people have ever made for Q2.
Many of them are coop and/or dm and even most of the single player games are playable as coop.

some games even offer "special" weapons.

to say forward, u guys need a modern engine client for a better look
When u want to play it with original look but got some issues while starting the Game, im sure Biker and me can help u out

And for the Members who dont use Linux, Register for Coop or Die Mod and DL it.
Its a free Competition Coop mod or something with Highscore on Website etc.
