Let me tell you a story!

Years ago, before, on-line games, Windows and GUI's there was a word-processor program which everybody used, it was called "Wordperfect".

Wordperfect was released to selected people on a new format CD which had both audio and data tracks on the CD. The disk had a demo version of Wordperfect on the data tracks and a number of audio tracks by an unknown group. One of the tracks was called "The Prayer of the Children" written by a young Croatian man called Kurt Bestor. He and his friend Sam Cardon wrote this song to make people realise that war destroyed lives - especially childrens lives. Kurt and Sam travelled through various countries singing this song, with no instrumental backing at all.

Turn the volume up and listen to the words. The original Wordperfect CD is scratched and not playable now but I found the song again today on Youtube.

It reduced both Jules and I to tears again, the way it used to 15-20 years ago,

Give it a play, see what you think!! Thanks for listening!
