| I am currently reading Book 1: "The Gunslinger" of this 7 part series by Stephen King. I can honestly say its one of the best reads I've ever experienced.
Who else has read these books? What are your thoughts on the story? _______________________________________________________________

I actually read the Gunslinger when I was in Highschool or college, don't remember which. It was an interesting book and then I saw years later that SK made a huge series out of it, was really amazed. I used to read a lot of his work, he is such a prolific literary genius.
My favorite all time from him were Pet Cemetary and Misery. |

| Hm great series, I just LOVE that mix of western-postapocalyptic-low magic world. Roland in first few books reminds Clint Eeastwood from Fistful of Dollars/The Good The Bad and The Ugly(S.King after seeing this movies started writing THe Dark Tower), but later slowly starts to transform. The Book can be pretty suprising, has many interesting ideas (I won't write any spoilers, it would be blasphemy!) and sometimes it's pretty hardcore, violence and sex-things included. Currently I'm reaing The Wizzard and Glass volume an after that - three more to go sadly Overall: Daisy recommends it! _______________________________________________________________ Horses are BAD people!!! really mate, I've seen it myself!! |
