hey, I was the one that asked Ina to look at the nude pic post. They just made me moderator of this book forum and I didn't know whether to remove it or not. I showed it to him and it was decided that we may get in trouble with the phpbb owners of the forum. Then I later went and deleted a few posts (the ones that were replies to the problem post etc.) to bring the thread back on track. Ended up deleting too many posts I think. Anyhow, won't happen again.

I'm really sorry about this and it's my fault, not Ina's. Hope no hard feelings as I'm new and didn't know better.
peace,

yes I have perused this. quite an interesting read young man Very Happy

Take note of how Buettner divides the book into training, maturity development of the recruit and then deployment to take on the slugs (told in flashbacks). Echoes the themes of Full Metal Jacket, Starship Troopers and Saving Private Ryan IMO. Buettner was a former military intelligence officer, so his expertise proves noteworthy throughout the text. Nice pick. trophy
Cheers.

The Foundation series was a fascinating read for me probably about 40 or more years ago.
If I remember correctly mankind had discovered an algorithm which calculated man's history
and could predict future events. I may be wrong though........... Very Happy Very Happy

they wrote about the things that they could not understand.
